AROSA _ Argumentatives Rollenspiel

AROSA_ Argumentative Role Play

Since 2019

Gloria Gaviria and Susanne Bosch developed an interventionist-participative game with the game AROSA _ Argumentative Role Play of Agents. The basic idea consists of developing a „creative“ form of practice critical of capitalism for and with people of a neighborhood. In essence, the game invites people to change roles and to experience argumentation in order to develop a vision of possible collaborative and co-creative ways of shaping of a shared living environment. The game was so far played in the following neighborhoods: Karl-Marx-Allee, Holzmarkt and Ostkreuz, all in Berlin.
In 2020-22 we will develop scenarios together with Dirk von Schneidemesser and Nicolina Kirby from IASS (iass-potsdam.de) and Inge Lechner from Changing Cities (changing-cities.org) for the mobility calming discussion through Kiezblocks in Berlin neighbourhoods.
On 11 June 2022 we played in Hannover at the conference for experimental neighbourhood development: https://youpromisedmeacity.de/
We are currently researching and developing a game scenario in Friedrichshagen at the transition from Berlin to Brandenburg.
