ATA (old Turkish for: father), introduces the tea place next to the visa queue of the German Consulate in Istanbul, Turkey.
Adem is running the tea place since 1981 and his customers are the waiting crowds as well as the working staff around the visa business.
The images and interviews reflect the ideas and wishes of people about leaving, becoming a migrant and living between several realities.
Adem is listening since 25 years to expatriate biographies. He himself never left the country. He loves Turkey.
